"Una ponders subjective time. Her time. To measure her time. Which becomes our time, or just time. How is it possible to make time something one is able to see or cast away, shed, like a toy or an artwork?

Time is not like water (where is its source? to where does it drain?) rather it is like an inverted dam or power plant where, instead of the water (time/not time) powering it, electricity (power plant/water) powers time. Then time flows about the works, objectified, electrically operated, and subservient.

But it is not possible to see time, measure time. Everything is within time and time does not halt. What we measure and experience, or put forth as the object time, what remains, is not time, it is something else. A mobile, drawings, paintings, machines and devices, a music box, tape. Time is a metaphor."
